If the serial number on an Ultraport SI card shows that it has been produced on or after the first week of Sept (WW=36) of the year 2006 (YY=06), then a driver of version 2.3.0 or later is required to recognize the card. 2.2.0 * UltraPort 8i cards will now always report the DSR signal as active 2.1.1 * Fixed a problem with dropping DTR when baudrate 0 is set. 2.1.0 * Added support for the UltraPort Express 1, 2, 4 and 8 port PCI Express cards 2.0.3 * Fixed a problem with opening a modem device in non-blocking mode. 2.0.2 * Fixed a problem on multiprocessor systems 2.0.1 * Fixed a problem with the atdialer not talking to modems 2.0.0 * Added support for Perle UltraPort SI cards 1.3.2 * Fixed a problem with the driver locking up the system, when multiple ports are opened and closed at the same time 1.3.1 * Fixed a problem for the Perle Ultraport locking up the transmitter if it receives characters while the port is closed 1.3.0 * Added support for Perle UltraPort1, PCI-FAST 4,8,16 and 16FMC, PCI-RAS4, PCI-RAS8, PCI-RAS4 V.92 and PCI-RAS8 V.92 cards 1.2.2 * Update node file on every reboot, when using UltraPort16 1.2.1 * Screen freezes periodically, when using cu to dial out to another host 1.2.0 * Added support for the UltraPort2, UltraPort8i PCI cards 1.1.0 * Added support for the UltraPort 4, 8 and 16 port PCI cards * Proper support for INPCK, -IGNPAR, PARMRK flags with parity or framing errors occur * When CREAD flag set receiver was not turned off * Modem type devices would only raise DTR * Perle-Speed Port configurator did not properly update the ttytype file with your configured terminal type * RTS signal would remain active after port closing when RTS/CTS flow control was enabled 1.0.1 * Driver now sets correct bits in the UART's registers for independent Tx/Rx hardware flow control. * Driver now capable of performing Transparent Printing. * Speed device nodes now maintained automatically during system startup. * Driver's Transparent Print configuration automatically updated during system startup. * Driver now correctly handles modem nodes. * BREAK Tx/Rx support added. * 'ixany' implementation corrected. * Rx exceptions logged by driver. * All UART supported character sizes and parity settings now available on Speed ports via stty command. * Driver now supports multiple Speed cards on same IRQ. * Driver now has correct flush and drain functionality. * Modem Status change updates now handled by poll routine. 1.0.0 * Initial driver release. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ******************** *** END README *** ********************
