The native serial driver will no longer capture these cards and they will then work with the Perle-Serial driver for Linux. Installation and Use ------------------ The perle-serial utility is supplied as source code in a compressed tar file with the following name: psutils-.tgz Copy this file to a directory (i.e. /tmp) and perform the following commands to compile and run the utility: cd /tmp tar -zxf psutils-.tgz cd psutils- make ./psutils The utility will detect all the affected Perle-Serial cards that are installed on the system and update the eeproms from files included with this utility.
