Modem serial cables (there are 3 variations
of the modem cable)
All purpose modem cable. For PPP and standard asynchronous
dial-in/out. Will work with all Hayes compatible modems, except
Multi-tech modems.

Special purpose modem cable: The following serial
cable is for standard dial-in only. You cannot use PPP. This cable
will allow modem disconnection when exiting out of user session
or when closing application program. Requires you to set the DCD
Control to "True" in the Channel configuration. Will work with all
Hayes compatible modems, except Multi-tech modems.
