RESOLUTION

When using the PC Utility program there are two ways to put the 594M into Factory Default. You can tell when the 594M is in Factory Default by the flashing green “Ready” led on the front panel.

You will need a PC with PC Utility software loaded on it and a serial cable connected from the PC COM port to the 9 pin “UTIL” connector on the back of the 594M.

Factory Default from the Boot Menu

  1. With the 594M powered off start the PC Utility program on the PC, and then press the Enter key to continue. At this point a pop-up message should appear indicating that the PC is “Waiting for a Serial Connection”.
  2. Power up the 594M and a short menu with three selections should be displayed. If the download software screen appears instead press the Esc key to get to the boot menu.
  3. Cursor down to “Reset to Factory Default” and press the Enter key. If a pop-up message appears saying “Function not available” you must try the alternate way to reset to Factory Default.
