of Affinity PCI cards on Windows 2000 and XP

The
information in this article applies to:
- Affinity
PCI card installed on a Windows2000 O/S.
SYMPTOMS
The
Affinity card is not detected by the O/S. No
resources are assigned to the card.
CAUSE
If
the Affinity card is placed in a slot belonging
to any PCI bus other than PCI bus #0, the card
will not automatically be detected by the driver.
The existing driver only checks for a card in
PCI bus 0.
RESOLUTION
The
following Affinity driver upgrade resolves this
issue.
