The following procedure should be used to run Perle Visilink V5.11 or higher as a Win2000 compatible program.

1) Update the Perle twinax.sys driver - see technote AS400AFF0001.

2) Go to Start program menu and right click on Visilink program.

3) Go to properties.

4) Click on compatibility tab at top.

5) Select box - run this program in compatibility mode for:

6) Select Windows 2000.

7) Click apply tab.

8) Click OK to save and end.

9) Restart the Perle Visilink V5.12 program and you should now obtain  a signon screen to the AS/400.
