Powering
up RIO RTA's after Linux Redhat 7.1 has automatically
loaded RIO module causes a kernel Oops.

The
information in this article applies to:
- RIO
driver for Linux-2.4.2 which is distributed
with Redhat 7.1.
SYMPTOMS
If
the RIO module was loaded automatically using
our scipts (rio.rh) and the RTA was powered
on later, the user would get a kernel Oops,
with the error "Interrupts not syncing-
stopping interrupt handler".
RESOLUTION
Engineering
has recognised the problem and has provided
the following upgrade to resolve this particular
issue. To update the RIO driver for linux-2.4.2
kernel follow the procedure in the readme.txt
file.
