Logging
on RIO terminal on Linux kernel 2.4.x causes
a kernel Oops.

The
information in this article applies to:

driver for Linux-2.4.x kernel releases
SYMPTOMS
When
a user tries to log on to a terminal connected
to the RIO RTA they would get a kernel Oops
after the username was entered.
RESOLUTION
Engineering
has recognised the problem and has provided
the following upgrade to resolve this particular
issue. To update the RIO driver for linux-2.4.x
kernel follow the procedure in the readme.txt
file.
