Card does not work with new Getty utility on
SCO Openserver 5.06 with 5.06A Release supplement

information in this article applies to:
- SX
Card on SCO Openserver 5.06 with 506A Release
supplement applied
SYMPTOMS
New
getty binary found within the 5.06a Release
Supplement for SCO Openserver 5.06 does not
work with SX serial cards.
RESOLUTION
To
accommodate the 5.06A Release Supplement the
following procedure has be used for the SX serial
cards:
- Apply
the new 5.06A Release Supplement to the SCO
environment.
- Install
the older Getty binary into the environment.
