Remotely Manage Telco Assets in Extreme Temperature Environments
IOLAN SDS T Device Servers
Wireless base station equipment with serial console ports can be managed
remotely over an existing network or out of band using a dial-up PPP modem
connection. Many times this gear is located within remote equipment “shacks”
that are not temperature controlled and are therefore susceptible to extreme
variations in temperature. An IOLAN
SDS T will operate in –40C to +74C providing
reliable serial device networking in these special environments.
