Notes on NCR io8+ driver release version 1.0.2

The driver release introduces support for the Perle System Ltd io8+ PCI hardware, 
for NCR Unix system. The release is functionally equivalent to the ISA 1.0.2 package.

Limitations/Restrictions:
-  The maximum number of io8+ card which can be installed in one system is 4.
-  You can not mix ISA and PCI cards in the same chassis.

Installation: 
(1)	If a previous IO8 installation exists, remove it first.  
(2)  	Copy or FTP file "io8pci.pkg" to directory "/tmp".
(3)	Type in "pkgadd -d /tmp/io8pci.pkg" at the command line and press return.
(4)	Reboot the system after installation is completed.

Device files created:
	/dev/term/ixx, /dev/term/Ixx, /dev/term/ixxp

where;
	xx=01--32,
	"ixx" are the local devices,
	"Ixx" are the modem devices,
	"ixxp" are the transparent print devices.
