The digitally signed Microsoft drivers ensure a seamless migration for customers who are upgrading to the latest version of Windows®.
"Trying to install a piece of hardware in a Microsoft system without a digitally signed driver is a real headache," comments John Feeney, Chief Operating Officer at Perle Systems. "Our objective is to make installation and use of all Perle products in any OS environment as easy as possible."
Before Microsoft will grant Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2 Certification a series of rigorous test must be passed. Once a product or solution has met the stringent reliability and technical excellence criteria set out by Microsoft it will be issued with digitally signed drivers.
