Video Surveillance & Security
Video Surveillance is at the core of most commercial security systems. It is prevalent all industry sectors including, construction sites, entertainment venues, public spaces, mining, transportation, financial services, and retail.
Real-time footage recorded by surveillance cameras needs to be easily and securely transferred from the camera to the cloud, or an IP network, for review and action. Perle offers a comprehensive portfolio of products to facilitate reliable data transfer of security camera footage.

IRG LTE Routers provide fast, secure, and reliable managed network connectivity where a user needs primary or back-up LTE coverage between video cameras and the cloud or IP networks.

Industrial Switches connect cameras in environments that are subject to extreme operating temperatures of -40°C to 75°C, vibrations, and shocks. They can also supply up to 100 Watts PoE.

Fiber Media Converters enable connections of UTP copper-based cameras to multimode or single mode fiber. They can also supply up to 100 Watts PoE.

Ethernet Extenders enable data transmission up to 20km utilizing existing single twisted pair (CAT5/6/7/8), coax, or any existing copper wiring . They can supply up to 30 Watts PoE.

Perle IRG LTE Routers connect security cameras to cloud-services
Eli Controls, a Systems Integrator, choose IRG LTE Routers to provide high throughput for multiple HD streams in a Cloud Surveillance Solution designed to operate using solar energy. We decided to try Perle IRG LTE Routers when the Verizon rep confirmed compatibility, which guaranteed there would be no problems when activating new sim cards. We have been impressed with the throughput of the IRG Router and its ability to handle multiple HD streams.
- Will Litrell, Owner of Eli Controls, a System Integrator for Cloud Surveillance Solutions.

Perle IRG LTE Routers provide LTE coverage when WiFi is unavailable
When the power goes down, so does the WiFi. Cellular systems, however, keep working. Winning Strategies designs stand-alone multi-power-source wireless video surveillance systems that take advance of the IRG5000 ultra-low power consumption to provide primary connectivity over WiFi with automatic failover to back-up LTE. The Perle Routers fit the bill. Other manufacturers offered either WiFi or cellular routing, but not both, which was critical in this redundant solution design.
- John Gayeski, Director at Winning Strategies.
